What I love

I am driven by the discipline of competitive sport through my involvement in competitive tennis and golf. I have developed the focus and mental resilience required to perform under pressure. Beyond the competition, I particularly value these moments spent on the course or the court with my childhood friends or family members, as they represent a vital balance of loyalty, precision, and shared challenges.

Innovation as a Heritage, Engineering as a Path

I grew up in an environment where creativity and ambition were the primary languages, though they were spoken in fields far removed from science or technology. Coming from a family with no engineers, I inherited a drive to innovate and a desire to build something new from the ground up. This creative upbringing instilled in me a unique perspective: I don’t just see machines or spreadsheets; I see the art of creation and the ambition required to disrupt established norms. Choosing engineering was my way of applying that family spirit of innovation to the physical world, turning abstract ideas into tangible industrial progress.

From Mechanics to Business: Engineering the Big Picture

My journey began with a fundamental drive: the desire to understand how things work. This curiosity led me to l’École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM), where I mastered the rigors of industrial engineering. By immersing myself in the school’s workshops from forging and machining to welding and additive manufacturing. I gained a deep appreciation for technical craftsmanship and the soul of the “maker” culture.
However, I sensed a disconnect in the industry, particularly regarding knowledge transfer and the pace of innovation. To explore how innovation functions on a larger scale, specifically concerning European funding and strategic growth, I expanded my horizons. I rounded out my technical expertise with an MSc in Advanced Mechanical Engineering at Cranfield University in England, before joining ESSEC Business School to master the economic challenges behind technological projects. My goal is to bridge the gap between a breakthrough idea and its global market reality.

Accelerating Innovation: The VC Perspective

This hybrid background led me to Venture Capital, a field where I have started my career. Operating at the intersection of finance and technology has confirmed that this is the ideal position to identify and scale the next generation of industrial breakthroughs.
